Because we love these animals and birds, emotions can sometimes run high and dealing with us humans must be a real challenge for Trevor and the team!
Trevor has always helped both us and the animals to deal with their illness, trauma and sadness when the times come to part with great kindness and dignity. Nothing, nothing is ever a nuisance and I know that everyone is there for us should one of the animals be in crisis or if we are simply just worried about something or need quick advice.

We run a beef and sheep farm in Peeblesshire and have been customers of Two Rivers vets since Trevor took over the practice in 2005. All vets are competent with our sheep and cattle in any situation, we also have three horses and two pet donkeys and again their up to date knowledge and attention to detail is impressive.
We keep four working collie dogs along with a house terrier and two pet cats and regularly use both surgeries in Biggar and Peebles where the staff are friendly and caring towards us and our pets.

We have been clients of Two Rivers since 2010 - throughout all these years we have seen all the brilliant vets at some point, all the great vet nurses and not forgetting the always helpful receptionists, who always know my voice now when I phone the practice. We know that no matter what time of the day or night that we shall have a vet on the line when needed, one of our OWN vets and not be passed to a one size fits all telephone service - that in itself is worth it’s weight in gold.
We can’t even begin to count how many dogs Trevor has health tested for us prior to potentially breeding, and the many other breeder friends or associates they also now help, every single one looked after with the same care each time. The team have organised our dogs to travel all over the world, everything expertly done with all the correct information relayed to us as to what needs done and when and then taking care of it all.
We love that they are willing to listen to ideas, suggestions and answer our many questions on diet, medication, pet health problems and new procedures and treatments. Trevor is without doubt the most experienced vet on Boerboels in the whole of the UK!! We can’t recommend the team enough.

The Staff at Two Rivers are friendly, helpful and professional. The vets have assisted us with the breeding of our young sports horses, and help to keep our competition horses perform at their best.
They are able to do ultrasounds and xrays at my yard, and they are always happy to answer our questions and explain matters clearly. They can also advise on the best supplements to use.
