Farm Animals at Two Rivers Vets
Two Rivers Vets offer a comprehensive service for farm animals - including beef, dairy, sheep and smallholdings. Our vets have wide ranging interests and expertise in herd/flock health management, routine medical care and surgical procedures for all farm animals, as well as offering a 24 hour emergency service for our farm clients.
Our emphasis is on creating a tailored service for each farm to maintain optimal herd/flock health and reproductive efficiency. We believe that good basic animal husbandry along with a planned approach to routine preventative healthcare is best for both animal welfare and from an economic point of view.
Herd/flock health plans
We recommend that all farms, including smallholdings, complete a health plan in association with our vets. A successful plan with help optimise herd or flock potential with a focus on health and welfare. These health plans are also an essential part of most quality assurance schemes. Becoming a farm animal client with Two Rivers Vets
We understand that most farmers have a long term bond with their veterinary practice, and would be reluctant to change vets without good reason. However we have a great team of veterinary surgeons with an interest in farm animal work, and are keen to expand our farm animal client base. If you would like to chat to us about the services we may able to offer, please call Biggar on 01899 220073 or Peebles 01721 722879, or email Trevor Black.
